Pro Party Planner App Reviews

I learn best visually and I mention this to bring attention to the video tutorial library on the developer website as well as on youtube. I have watched the tutorial on task management and can not find the task icon outlined in the video. Perhaps I am doing something out of sequence or the task feature is an in app purchase. I would absolutely love to watch a tutorial which depicts an event from beginning to end using this app.

I keep getting kicked off when adding guests. This app has a lot of potential, hoping it starts working better soon!

I used this app to plan my sweet sixteen. Its amazing, and I highly recommend it.

It closes when I try to start an FB sync.

I dont like the interface and its inability to be user friendly. It also needs more design specifications such as Social Tables app. That app is perfect in the design aspect however, I will say I appreciate all of the detail this app has. Regardless, it can have all of the cool detail a designer needs but if its not easy to use, then its pointless.

Great party planner. I just organized a birthday party, for my 80 year old aunt, for about 60 guests and it made my life so much easier. I find it easy to use and its really nice to have all the logistics aspects of the party in one place. It is so user friendly and every detail is taken care of, even ones that I would never have thought of on my own. The gift tracking feature is a life saver!

Why doesnt the Facebook sync work!!!!!

You have to add guests manually which takes too long. Service team is non responsive. Too bad since it has promise and I paid $5!!

I have been using Pro Party Planner for a couple of years now and love it. It makes it so much easier to organize a party with others and to have every information in one place.

To other users: this is my first app rating, but I felt I had to rate it because this is false advertising. Beware!! To the developers: I am very upset. The main reason I got the app was for the budget feature. Why cant you add more main categories!!! This is terrible and a total waste of time! I feel like I was cheated. You shouldnt charge $5 with such low quality. If that was customizable than maybe I wouldnt be so angry, but that is the main reason I got the app as I am still in the planning mode. Why did you bunch up all the "categories" like menu...I cant plan anything in detail like that... Menu, decorations, really??? That is not what professionals need to plan a major event. Its true that the other event apps are worse but you shouldnt hype up the app so much...and then let users get so disappointed!! You also need to work on the GUI. Its not elegant at all. Please fix the main categories issue for budget, it is driving me crazy!!! And there is no tutorial on budget either, is it because it is so limited and poorly done? I was going to give you one star for fake advertising but because I am in the app development world myself I felt bad for you. I know its a lot of work, but at the same time you should have integrity and not do false advertising! Your transitions are also way to clunky. You need elegance and better functionality. I cant believe there is not one decent functioning event app out there,...Maybe that should be my next project!!! Ughh!!! It would be one thing if it had these issues and you charged $1 maybe $2, but to overcharge like that?! The fake advertising is what made me so mad! Reduce your price or make some intense improvements because you will bring your rating down to the hole. Im very upset and I want a refund please. If you professionally issue a refund I will write another review that you were fair and professional. Please issue a refund!!!! I cannot use the app!!!

We looked at a huge number of apps to try and find one to use for planning an event for a nonprofit. We had a number of volunteers who were coordinating, so we were hopeful that this would work for us to be able to sync info between us all as we worked to coordinate the 140 volunteers as well as all of the guests. We found that the app was not very user friendly. We hoped that we could use some of the features (like the photo of the venue) as a way to assign staff to specific areas to serve. About the only thing that worked for us was getting a data base of our volunteers but checking them in didnt sync between our multiple devises as we had hoped. (If you used both at the same time it wouldnt save and sync both information- we were hoping that it could sync during the event to see who was there with out having to reset each time to sync.) Prior to the event, we had to be careful to not accidentally delete the work someone else did by resetting during a sync. All this to say, we will be looking for a new app to use for our event next year :(
